Hi there, my name is Tim and I’m the founder of VICUBE Animation. I´m from Germany and started with 3D Animation in 2020 using Blender 2.8, and it captivated me from the very beginning. Well, almost. My initial attempts were somewhat frustrating back then because there weren’t as many good tutorials available as there are today, and I also felt somewhat overwhelmed by all the possibilities at first.

Nevertheless, I found it incredibly fascinating and whenever I managed to accomplish something and then render it, it was an incredibly satisfying feeling to have achieved something good. I’ve been making films since I was six years old and have always been very interested in the medium. However, I only got into 3D animation later through my work because we needed some locations that couldn’t be easily accessed, for an originally small children’s short film on the topic of democracy. This prompted the creation of my first proper feature film (Die Versuchung).

It was a completely new experience for me. All the actors were recorded individually and later assembled. I did everything for the film myself, from the screenplay to the final edit, so of course, not everything was perfect, but it was my introduction to the public and also the start of VICUBE Animation on March 1, 2022. The first film was still in German back then, but afterwards, I decided to continue in English so that I could reach a larger audience. My English isn’t perfect, but it’s also a good opportunity for me to improve there simultaneously.

Since then, I’ve been trying to build up the channel and constantly improve. I’ve already produced four short films in addition to the feature film, and I also create many tutorials on Blender or similar software.
